Day 1: Travel, Travel and more Travel

Hey everyone,

This is the first blog for our trip to Thailand and Cambodia.

As with any trip we need to get there - Driving, Ferry, more driving and we have arrived in Seattle late last night. Not rubbing it in but it is cold this morning before we leave for our flight - I won't miss it, nor the rain. We leave for Seoul, Korea as our stop over for a plane change and then on to Thailand. Total time: 36 hours if you include the day added by crossing the international date line. Ok geography lesson is over. no pictures on this one as how boring is it taking pictures of BC Ferries etc. I will get some pictures of all the planes for Jade.

Next post will be from Bangkok on Sunday... which is Saturday, right??? for us North American's. My head is spinning its too early to think about that.

Miss you all; chat soon.

  1. Welcome to Bangkok!

Grab a Singha from the "pop machines" at the airport and enjoy. Head to the Grand Palace when you get a chance and definitely get a massage. Look out for the Tuk Tuk drivers they are wild. Go to Chaing Mai for a 3 day hike if time permits. Koh Phi Phi is amazing if you are heading there. Spend your money there on a nice place . Charlie or PP Princess was great when we went.

I am so excited for you it is an amazing part of the world ... I would have kept going if I looked back on it now.
